Starting point
State the household’s communication language and how duties will be explained and reviewed. Short questions and practical examples help check understanding without associating a skill with a nationality.
for a home with two kitchens
Explain each kitchen’s use and supplies, allocating time by actual use rather than treating both spaces equally.
a practical task sheet
Note each duty, its location, timing and one completion criterion, then review the sheet with the person carrying it out.
